  • Here is a method of cleaning crystal chandeliers which does not require dissembling the fixture. The area underneath the chandelier should be protected by a drop cloth. Fill a water tumbler with 1 part alcohol to 3 parts water. raise the tumbler to each pedant until immersed. the crystal will drip-dry without leaving water spots, lint or finger marks. The crystal parts not accessible to the tumbler can be wiped with the solution.
  • Or, wear cotton work gloves and dip your fingers in ammonia water and clean away.
