  • When pan frying or sauteing, always heat the pan before adding the butter or oil. Not even eggs will stick with this method.
  • Sprinkle a little salt into the frying pan to prevent spattering.
  • Vinegar brought to a boil in a new frying pan will prevent foods from sticking.
  • When frying, turn a metal colander upside down over the skillet. This allows the steam to escape but keeps the splattering down.
  • Meat loaf will not stick to the pan if you put a slice of bacon on the bottom of the pan before backing.
  • If muffins are sticking to your pan, place the hot pan on a wet towel. They will slide right out.
